Payment Methods and Cancellation

PAYMENT METHODS

Full payment of fees is required prior to the Symposium. Payment can be made in the following methods:

CREDIT CARD PAYMENT

Visa, MasterCard and AMEX are accepted (plus 1.5% surcharge for Visa/MasterCard and 2% surcharge for AMEX)

CHEQUE PAYMENT

Please make cheque/bank draft/money order in Australian Dollars payable to “WALDRONSMITH Management – HWRS 2018″ and mail to the Symposium Office.

International delegates please note: Cheque payment must be received by way of an international bank draft in Australian Dollars, which states an Australian drawee bank. We cannot accept personal or company cheques. On receipt of your payment, a confirmation letter will be emailed to you.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Registration Fees
Cancellation of a registration must be advised via email to the Symposium Office. Verbal changes or cancellation cannot be accepted. The following refunds will apply from the date of receipt of notification:

On or before 4 September 2018 100% refund less an administration fee of $110 incl GST
On or before 4 October 2018 75% refund less an administration fee of $110 incl GST
On or before 2 November 2018 50% refund less an administration fee of $110 incl GST
After 3 November 2018 No refund available

The refund will be returned via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds. No refund will be made after 3 November 2018; however an alternative delegate name may be provided in writing and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly. Please note no refund or discount will be made if a function or event within the registration fee is not taken up or is subsequently cancelled.

Social functions may be cancelled before or on 2 November 2018 and will be refunded in full via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds. After 3 November 2018, no refunds will be made; however an alternative delegate name may be provided via email and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly.

All cancellations and substitutions must be made in writing to the Symposium Office.

Accommodation
For accommodation cancellation policies, please refer to the individual hotel policies noted on the website. Any amendments to original hotel bookings must be forwarded via email to the Symposium Office. Verbal changes or cancellations cannot be accepted nor will the hotels accept any changes direct.

Insurance
Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. The Organising Committee and the Symposium Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.

Tax
All Symposium registration fees, social function tickets and pre-Symposium workshop tickets are quoted in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of 10% GST.

By registering, delegates acknowledge and consent that during their attendance at HWRS 2018, their image or voice may be recorded via video, photograph or by any other means (“recorded”) by an officer or official of HWRS 2018, and may be distributed or published at the discretion of the HWRS Organising Committee. If you do not wish to be recorded, you are required to formally advise the Symposium Office.
